A life well lived is a life well worth remembering.
Our much loved Laurence, who has touched the lives of many and left an imprint wherever he goes, throughout his life, career, community & charitable endeavours, countless humorous and occasionally drunken parties.
From Northern Ireland, his origin, via Hong Kong where he spent the majority of his life in service of The Royal Hong Kong Police before finally settling in Wivenhoe, the town he loved.
He was a dear brother and uncle to his family, a role model and mentor to many of his undertakings, a loyal and generous friend and colleague to the many of us. Laurence you are and will be sorely missed.

Sláinte / Cheers / 乾杯 to you Laurence. In our memories you live on.
For some unknown reason Laurence came into my mind as he was a fellow member of Royal Ulster Constabulary GC 'H' Squad 18/11/1973. Laurence was not in the same class as me but I do remember him as being extremely polite and having a wicked sense of humour. He was sent to Downpatrick and i went to Bangor. I am saddened to learn of his passing. My sincere condolences to his family, friends and former colleagues.
Thanks for happy memories of our time in Hong Kong. RIP, Laurence....
